14 Athletes Selected to Participate in Select Team Training

USA Basketball, the National Governing Body for the sport of basketball in the United States, has announced the selection of 14 athletes to the 2023 USA Basketball Men's Select Team. The team will train with the 2023 USA Men's National Team in Las Vegas, Nevada, from July 17-28.

The Select Team will provide competition and support for the 2023 USA Men's National Team as they prepare for the 2023 FIBA Basketball World Cup in the Philippines, Japan, and Indonesia from August 25 to September 10.

The Select Team will be coached by Tyronn Lue, head coach of the Los Angeles Clippers. The team will participate in a series of practices and scrimmages with the National Team before competing in two exhibition games in Las Vegas on July 26 and 27.

The 2023 USA Basketball Men's Select Team is an important part of USA Basketball's player development pipeline. The team provides an opportunity for up-and-coming athletes to gain experience and compete against the world's best players.

The 2023 USA Basketball Men's National Team will be announced later this summer. The team will compete in the 2023 FIBA Basketball World Cup and will look to qualify for the 2024 Summer Olympics in Paris, France.
