Mesa native Jagger Eaton wins silver medal for Team USA at the 2024 Paris Olympics
PARIS (July 28, 2024) - It was a party for Team USA at the men's street skateboarding final at the 2024 Paris Olympics.
Jagger Eaton of Mesa, who came into the Games as one of Arizona's favorites to bring home a medal, and Huston, 29, wowed fans on a sweltering afternoon at La Concorde in Paris during the preliminary round before. The American Eaton, who won the silver medal, was cracking jokes and dropping truths.
"I'm just trying to have fun out here," Eaton said. "It's the Olympics, so it's a little bit nerve-wracking, but I'm just trying to take it one run at a time." It took Nyjah Huston all of three seconds to fall on his first run at these 2024 Summer Olympics.
